For skiing and snowboarding in the village, the Rittisberg and Dachstein mountains (a year-round ski area) beckon, as well as numerous beginner- and child-friendly lifts in the themed ski region “Kali’s Winter World.”

The nearby ski mountains Planai (in the World Cup town of Schladming), Hauser Kaibling, and Reiteralm are your gateways to Ski Amadé, one of Austria’s best ski areas, stretching from Styria to Salzburg.

A fantastic, lovingly furnished and perfectly equipped farm at the foot of the Dachstein. We spent a great week here at five and our kids between five and eight were - as we were - really excited. Pet animals and feed, splash, slide, barbecue ... the possibilities at the farm are great (and the stuff to do in the area even more). Oh yes, the hosts are also outstanding, such a great service I have rarely experienced. Five stars... 🙂

In the meantime we have been coming to Ramsau for several years, but with the Forsterhof we have literally made a gold grip. Upon arrival, we were warmly welcomed and you immediately had the feeling to be a part of this farm.
The apartment is completely new and super designed - really a feast for the eyes !!
